Ultiplay LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Scope. Ultiplay is primarily a desktop application that plays media stored on or accessed by the user's own device. The desktop application does not host or store user-supplied media content on Ultiplay servers. The only files Ultiplay LLC stores on your behalf are (a) update artifacts that we publish ourselves and (b) support bundles that you explicitly upload (which contain logs/settings, not media). Accordingly, the bulk of the § 512 safe harbor regime is not implicated by the Software. If you believe content on the ultiplay.net website itself infringes your copyright, use the procedure below.
1. Notification of alleged infringement (DMCA takedown notice)
To submit a DMCA notice, send a written communication to our Designated Copyright Agent containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple, a representative list).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including its URL or other location reasonably sufficient for us to find it.
- Your contact information (full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
2. Designated Copyright Agent
Status: As of May 23, 2026, Ultiplay LLC has not yet completed registration of a Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office at dmca.copyright.gov . Until that registration is completed, DMCA safe harbor under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) is not being claimed for any user-generated content. Because the Software does not host user-generated media, this gap is intentional for the initial release; Ultiplay LLC will register a Designated Agent before introducing any feature that stores or makes available media on behalf of third parties.
Pending formal registration, copyright-related correspondence may be sent to:
Ultiplay LLCAttn: Copyright / DMCA
481 W. Prentice Ave #111
Littleton, CO 80120
United States
Email: dmca@ultiplay.net
3. Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado (or, if outside the U.S., the federal district where Ultiplay LLC is located); and a statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
4. Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, terminate the accounts, licenses, and access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
5. Misrepresentations
Knowingly material misrepresentations in either a notification or counter-notification may subject the submitting party to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
